Between 4 and 6 December, Transport and Technical Services will be carrying out a condition survey to measure the grip of a range of typical Jersey roads. To carry this out it will be necessary to close the selected roads for intervals of approximately 5 minutes to allow specialist survey vehicles to collect data, on occasions at high speed.

“Transport and Technical Services is delivering a programme of road improvements throughout the Island and this is another step towards ensuring our roads are safer and better maintained,” said John Richardson, Chief Officer, Transport and Technical Services.
